Film.io Release Notes v3.1 - Platform Safeguards, Quests, and New Rewards

Welcome to the latest update from Film.io, Version 3.1, which introduces key measures to safeguard the platform from bad actors, new exciting quests, and bigger rewards. Here’s what’s new in this version:

Key Enhancements and Features:

Platform Protection and $FAN Token Updates

• $FAN Token Stability: To maintain the fairness and stability of the Film.io ecosystem, we've implemented new measures to deter exploitation of the $FAN governance token. These measures are essential for sustaining platform integrity as we continue to grow.

• Bonus $FAN Token Management (coming soon): The deployment of a dynamic system to manage bonus $FAN tokens will occur over the next few weeks. During this period, bonus $FAN withdrawals will be temporarily paused, though all bonus $FAN earned will still accrue in your account and can be used for staking and other on-platform actions. This new system will allow for a more engaged fan experience by rewarding our most active users with larger general rewards as well as introducing a new gamified unlocking experience (coming soon).

• Platform Wallets: Now everyone will have access to a gasless platform wallet, improving the overall user experience and helping to deliver on a promise of seamless onboarding and community engagement.

  • External Wallets: Simply Transfer Your Tokens into the platform from your Non-Custodial Wallet and you will be able to transact gas-free.

    

  • ** Please only transfer $FAN Tokens into platform wallets, as all other tokens are not accepted and may not be recoverable.

Leaderboard Quests & Rewards

• Leaderboard: we will be unveiling our leaderboard over the coming days, which will provide a whole new dynamic to the film.io platform and offer a variety of fun new ways to engage.

• GEMs and XP: participate in quests, contests, and a variety of other activities to earn GEMs and XP, which can be used to claim rewards, speed up your Bonus Token Release Schedule (coming soon!), and improve your standing within the community leaderboard (offering amazing opportunities for huge prizes to the top spots).

Community Integrity

• Encouraging Positive Engagement: New features are aimed at promoting a community culture that values long-term success and growth. By deterring bad-faith behaviors, these updates foster a more committed and supportive user base.

  • Note: ALL users who are found to violate our TOS by leaving spam, inflammatory, or duplicate reviews will be banned in the coming days. Reviews are meant to be constructive (positive or negative) and specific to the project and the fact that they help progress through the DAO Tiers is secondary.

• Foundational Enhancements for DAO Governance: We're setting the stage for future phases of decentralized governance by improving algorithmic controls and enhancing DAO levers, paving the way for a fully decentralized operational framework in the future.

Bug Fixes and Interface Enhancements

• User Interface Refinements: Continual improvements have been made to both the desktop and mobile interfaces to ensure a smoother user experience.

• Blockchain Transaction Improvements: We’ve addressed several issues to enhance the reliability and performance of blockchain transactions on our platform.
