Hello Filmioids!

We’re thrilled to present Film.io v2.0.1, an update that introduces a refreshed explore page experience and trending algorithm that surfaces projects more dynamically.

What’s New:

  • Enhanced Project Discovery: introducing our new and improved real-time trending algorithm that helps to keep a fresh and dynamic view into all of the content that Film.io has to offer, fostering more engagement between our vibrant fan and creator communities.

  • All-Inclusive Project Display: We've refined the default explore-page view to showcase all creator-sourced projects on the platform, ensuring you have the full spectrum of content at your fingertips.

    • DAO Creativity Proposals: our default explore page view has changed from "Film & TV Projects" to "DAO Creativity Proposals" and is designed to spotlight all projects sourced directly from our amazing creator community. Currently showcasing Film and TV endeavors, Film.io is poised to expand in the future, embracing a diverse array of content, from innovative NFT projects to captivating gaming ventures, and more. These project proposals can be supported in a variety of ways, such as staking your $FAN, reviews, referrals, and more, all of which help to improve the project's Go Score TM.

      • If you liked the prior category view, not to worry, just click on the pre-populated filter to remove it and you'll be redirected to that view.

    • DAO Governance Proposals: this filter surfaces all DAO proposals that can be voted on with $FAN to help to determine the future and direction of the Film.io protocol.

  • Optimized Stability: We continue to fine-tune the platform and have introduced optimizations to some of the performance-impacting queries and API calls to help make for a more enjoyable user experience. We also identified several places that need attention and will be introducing fixes frequently.
