Happy Holidays, Filmioids!

As we approach this new year, we're delighted to bring you Version 1.9.5! This is a pivotal update in our commitment to enhancing user experience and security on Film.io. This version introduces a significant upgrade and improvement to our overall blockchain layer and general security.

Here’s what’s new:

Key Enhancements & Features:

  1. Improved Blockchain Architecture: This upgrade serves as a major enhancement to our blockchain layer and greatly improves performance, security, and scalability.

  2. Boosted Transaction Efficiency: We've significantly reduced transaction failures, providing a smoother and more reliable experience.

  3. Progress Towards Non-Custodial Wallets: this upgrade serves as a pivotal step to introducing non-custodial wallet integrations in the future, paving the way for greater user autonomy and security.

  4. Enhanced Multi-Transaction Capability: Due to popular demand! Now you can execute multiple transactions simultaneously (up to 3), greatly improving your general experience and catering to the dynamic needs of our users.

  5. More Secure and Convenient Login Experience: we are moving to a passwordless experience through a one-time-use email code when you login to the platform. Simply enter your email in the login box and then when you click 'sign in' you will be sent a login code to your email.

    • ** Important! You will need to enter your user/password for your first login and then you will never need a password again!

Migration Instructions:

All of the above benefits require you to migrate your account, however, we have made it incredibly straight-forward and all you will need is your user/pass.

  1. Launch Early Access: Click the 'Launch Early Access' button on the Film.io homepage.

  2. Login to Early Access: Choose 'Login to Early Access' to proceed.

  3. Enter Your Email and Password: Type in your registered email address and your password. Once validated, a unique login code will be sent to your inbox.

  4. Check Your Inbox: Await an email from Filmio containing your access code (this will be sent from noreply@trymagic.com).

  5. Copy-Paste the Code: Copy the code from the email and paste it into the designated box on the login page.

  6. Initiate Migration: The migration to our next-gen system starts upon entering your email code. We're doing a lot with this migration behind the scenes, so it will take 1-2 minutes. Your patience is much appreciated!

  7. Enjoy the Updated Platform: Once migration is complete, you’re ready to enjoy the enhanced features and performance of Film.io with our improved blockchain architecture!
